My autobiography



Hi!! Mi name is Javiera Ramirez Rollano.
I was born in Santiago, Chile on August 25, 1995.

I live with my grandmother, my mother and my boyfriend, and I have an older sister who was recently a mother of a girl called Alessia.

When I was a child, practice theater for 8 year. At the time, i performed in theater plays and with my organization travel to Argentina, Bolivia and Uruguay.

Studied all my life in the small school called Colegio andares de la florida. When i finish, i did a year of preuniversitario to prepare for college. Next year enter to the career of Social Work in the Universidad de Chile.

Today, I work the weekend packing bags in supermarket, and i´m focused on finish my career.

My career choice

When I was a child I always liked Astronomy and then when I was older and bigger in school I realized that the humanities and social sciences were what I wanted to dedicate in life. The first time I took the PSU it did not exist the career of Social work in the Universidad de Chile, so I applied to Psychology in USACH, but did not convince me, so I decided to prepare myself for another year. The other option that interested me was Political Science. Finally when I took the PSU for the second time, Social work was reopened in U de Chile and I decided to study this. Nowadays I´m in the fourth year of my career and i´m doing my professional practice in a foundation of social reinsertion called Dimas. This foundation works with people deprived of liberty. My experience in the university is very satisfactory. I feel privileged to belong to a university that’s so important for the country and although sometimes it’s very difficult, I do not regret my choice.

Alessia and me

Hi everyone! This photograph  is very important to me because I appear with my only niece called Alessia. When we took this picture my niece was two months old and it was summer, today she turned six months old and went to nursery school. This picture was taken by my boyfriend, just at the moment when she was calm and had fallen asleep. I remember that day, we went for a walk early and then we went to my grandmother´s house to share with her granddaughter, we stayed all day there and then the whole family arrived , which is very strange. Allesia is the first baby of the new generation of my family and it came into our lives to get us all together again. I like photo because I feel that when I´m older I´ll see it and i´ll remember all those moments.

My favorite piece of technology

Nowadays we are surrounded by technological articles of all kinds, for example: computers, Mp3, Mp4, Ipad, Playstation, phones,TVs, among other things, but by far my favorite electronic device and the one that I use the most is the cell phone, because it serves to do everythings, since listening music, send mails, save photos and videos, do banking transactions, save files, to call, inform us of the news, etc. Due to the great popularity of cell phones, can be found in many makes and models and they sell them in almost all the big stores in the country. The cell phone it is a fundamental instrument in modern life, almost all people have one, because allows us to be communicated and connected with anyone anywhere in the world.
